You need to define your own business model, understand what are the component of the idea and find which works best. If a business model is not viable, maybe start from a community model instead.

There is an established organisation called advisory which has a pool of mentors and they do matching as well. maybe you could learn from them about their journey. maybe instead of directly competing with them, you could focus on a niche industry like coding or investing. and build up content and networks in that niche space!! for sustainability in terms of finances, once you have a sizable pool of daily active users, you could charge them a small fee or sell ads.. the other way is to seek philanthropic funding and run as a nonprofit

Once the students are onboarded on your platform and have a clear vision and roadmap on their career pathway, they can then apply to the internships and jobs listed on your platform, which will then be a win-win situation for all.
