Monetary involvement sometimes takes away the intrinsic value that the activity actually gives. Unless the elderly is in need of money. Perhaps instead of money, a tangible action of paying-it-forward can be conducted. eg: 3 dialysis machines will be donated to these 3 families if you attend this workshop.

I think we can learn a lot from the elderly as they have a lot of experience that they can share and impart to the new generations and their skills are part of singapore history and story and also a family tradition and happiness story.

Trying to put myself in the shoes of a senior. After retirement, I wouldn\'t be bothered about whether I am given some form of compensation for my effort and time. After retirement, I would focus on what I have done in my life / what kind of legacy would I be leaving behind. Caution that this is a personal view point. I would be more than happy to merely be recognized for my contribution to society and be involved with a community where I feel part of something bigger than myself. Appealing to emotions is something that you guys can consider doing when framing your publicitiy/how you can appeal to your target users!

pretty good idea but long term traction might be an issue, where one can Google the answer for anything, and be presented with a myriad of resources to help them, what can a senior citizen do that the Internet can\'t help but I can see the appeal of having someone personally supervise and mentor you when you are stuck plus things like culinary and artistic skills are harder p.s just wondering if there are opportunities to further this as a kind of friendship.. and not a one-off bid and no longer involved and not in contact most of us thrives on longer social connections the fulfilment of having helped/been helped.

Instead of limiting yourself to auction websites, i suggest branching out to social media! eg youtube/ tiktok you guys can help them film the videos as there is adsense and besides allowing the videos to have greater outreach, and raising awareness, you can earn additional money to support the seniors& charities- seniors can teach their specialised skill/ interview like/ social experiments/ Besides bidding on skills and experiences, some seniors may also have tangible things to contribute- woodcraft/ sewing! I really love this idea keep going!
