What is the value add of this proposed aggregator platform? Moreover, how will the platform address the challenge that some courses may be low quality and that attending courses may not land one a job?

It is pretty easy to find courses for upskilling in the internet so if you are only designing a platform to showcase the list of courses, it may not be so helpful. If there a kind of algorithm that can let you know these are your skills, and these are the skills you are lacking or not so adequate in then suggest suitable courses for you it would be better.

Online learning is good but it will be messy if everyone tried to speak at the same time where we cannot raise our hands like in a physical lecture room before talking. We also lack the physical interactions with our friends and might lose interest in listening to the lecture as time goes on. However, online learning really saves travelling time for the students.

I think both online and offline courses have its benefits. I love the live interaction as well as the use of tech for studying. I like video recording as it helps to refresh the classroom lessons.

Although the govt has provided funding like SkillsFuture, this is only accessible to individuals above 25. This leaves youth and non-Singaporeans who may be curious and keen to upskill, stranded. Perhaps more opportunities can be provided for these marginalised groups. Can provided more “teaser” lessons that give a brief intro on what the course is about and entails at a much lower cost than having to apply for the course itself. This may be especially be helpful when people are just exploring new topics/interests.

Have courses to tag the relevant .exe files to a particular course since software versions change very frequently. courses that are tagged to a particular software may become obsolete very quickly.

I appreciate the intention to be a platform that connects course providers and learners. I would make a humble guess that maybe the problem is not the lack of such platforms that aggregate information. maybe the issue that people might not know what they are interested in or might not know what new knowledge or skills could help them advance in their career or help them to do a career switch. Maybe one thing that the team can consider is to interview more people- specifically 3 categories of people - people who are considering to do a course (what are their main concerns and motivations), people who have done a career switch as a result of completing causes(main challenges and sweet spots) and people who have gone for courses and managed to advance their career!!

I feel that Cohooz sounds a bit like what NTUC Learning Hub is doing currently and they are the pioneers in this space and holds a large \"market share\" and they are also verified, credible and established across all verticals and job functions. This might be a uphill task but I believe it could work if Cohooz has a cool differentiating factor and Unique value proposition to entice workers to use your platform.
