When you feel that you need it. However, the danger of this lies in the ability to self-diagnose "when" you need help. Somehow, people misjudge the severity and assume that they can still withstand the current pressure but actually they need to resolve the problem before it worsen. Would recommend that people readily seek mental support when they feel down.

I personally think forced mental health support e.g. being forced to go for counselling by parents or by teachers is never usually that helpful because people are not open to the idea. I also do think that mental health support should start earlier rather than later. If stigma of seeking help is reduced and help is easily accessible, people might also be more willing to seek help in earlier stages of mental stressors.

See quoted definition - art psychotherapy is rarely used to describe the practice of art therapy. It also sounds like you'll have an issue on the manpower front if you intend to deliver therapeutic services. The association mentioned above maintains a directory you can look up easily - there are <50 therapists qualified to deliver art therapy in Singapore, and many are employed in healthcare institutions i.e. not taking private clients.
